The Awesome Business Competition has evolved into the StartUp Humboldt Competition, expanding our original AWEsome vision while still supporting sustainable innovation through mentorship, funding, and collaborative leadership.
History of the Competition
The AWEsome Business Competition grew out of BlueTechValley as a competition for people in far Northern California working on resilient Agriculture, Water, and Energy (the AWE of AWEsome) ventures.
How Do I Compete?
We have evolved into the StartUp Humboldt competition, a competition based on the same values as the AWEsome Competition, but scaled 20x up to meet the growing need for innovation in our area. While applications are now closed, registration to attend the final pitch event on April 23rd is still open.
